This code is based on a signal from the skid control ECU. DTC stands for Diagnostic Trouble Code. It's a code that alerts you to a problem with your vehicle. The DTC C1252 indicates an issue with the brake booster pump motor. Code C1252 Toyota Possible Causes Faulty Brake Actuator Assembly Brake Actuator Assembly harness is open or shorted Brake Actuator Assembly circuit poor electrical connection How to fix code 1252 Check the operation of the hydraulic brake booster pump motor.  Check for a short circuit in the harness and connector between the ABS motor and the ECU.  Check for a short circuit in the harness and connector between the hydraulic brake booster and the ABS motor relay.
